I’ve had my previous website design for several years and it was getting a little unwieldy and inflexible. So over the recent holiday I ported my custom + MovableType installation to WordPress.
The port itself was not too bad—I exported my old blog files and imported them rather painlessly into WordPress. And some custom webpages I ported into WordPress as well. For the look, I hacked a WordPress theme I found (Mystique). So thanks to MovableType and to WordPress for making website design and blogging a (relatively, all things considered) easy process.
In any case, I am sure there will be a few dead links and URL mixups, but if you have a chance to click around and give me feedback, I would appreciate it.
