New website: migrating from MovableType to WordPress

I’ve had my previous website design for several years and it was getting a little unwieldy and inflexible. So over the recent holiday I ported my custom + MovableType installation to WordPress.

The port itself was not too bad—I exported my old blog files and imported them rather painlessly into WordPress. And some custom webpages I ported into WordPress as well.
